About the Doylestown Farmers Market

Located in the heart of downtown Doylestown, our open-air market features more than 30 rotating vendors local to Bucks County and the surrounding area. The market takes place every Saturday, 8:00-1:00 mid-April through mid-November.

As the oldest continually operating farmers market in the county, the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance was happy to take over operation of the market in 2017 from the Buckingham Township Civic Association. The market was established in 1975 and we are now celebrating our 47th season. The market continues to be a beloved destination for the people of Doylestown and the surrounding area. Come get to know the farmers and makers who hold up our vibrant food economy! We are a producers-only market. All of our vendors must either grow what they sell or make what they sell from local ingredients, to adhere to the mission of the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance, our parent company.

Featuring live music every week and special events throughout the season, the market is a great destination for day-trippers and locals alike. We offer tasting events, interactive workshops, chef demos, showcases of local nonprofits, children’s programs, and more! Be sure to check out our events schedule and sign up for our newsletter so you don’t miss what’s next.

Some market offerings include:

USDA Certified Organic, chemical-free and IPM vegetables, fruits and mushrooms, pastured Certified Organic meats, eggs, cheeses, fresh and dried herbs, and cut flowers.

Artisan bread, baked goods, jams, sauces, olive oil, honey, maple syrup, condiments, pickles, hand-crafted soaps, aromatherapy items, alpaca yarn, knife sharpening, dog treats, and handmade jewelry.

Fair Trade and Certified Organic coffee, microbrew beer, mead, wine and kombucha with farm-grown ingredients.
